Château Violette – Medoc

HISTORICALThe origin of the Château Violette dating back to
the early 20th century. Mr Bégu, a retired
policeman, aquired some hectares of hybrid
gravepines in an auction. His son, Pierre Fernand,
take the following of the activity in the 50’s and
replant all vine in the following 10 years.
Joëlle and Monique, his two daughters, take up the
torch in 2002. The name of Violette born from the
memories of his young daughter, Joëlle, who in
the spring, was collecting some violettes between
the rows of gravepine.
The vineyard is managed in the traditionnal way,
in sustanable cultivation.
