The success of a cooperative cellar lies in its history older than a century.

The values of solidarity, trust, fairness, responsibility and democracy   developed by cooperatives have had a huge impact on wine-making in France.

The control of the quality

In France today, cooperative cellars account for 50% of wine production and are known and recognized for the quality and consistency of their wines. This is made possible by a careful balance between the use of the latest technology and the respect of traditional vinification and maturing methods.

First and foremost, many small wine producers could no longer exist without cooperatives, which are thus a natural progression of family-based wine production.

Second, a union of producers enables access to significant technological, financial and human resourses, thereby contributing to the quality, authenticity and diversity of the terroirs that it covers.

The range produced by the 7 members of the union contains no less than 40 products, each with a unique personality.
In order to ensure this balance they seek the advice of the best wine consultants.

One such consultant is Eric Boissenot, a winemaker with an international renown who advises some of the most famous vineyards in the world ( Latour, Lafite Rotschild, Margaux, Mouton Rotschild, Léoville Las Cases, Giscours…) and some of the members of the Union des Caves du Médoc.
