The vineyard has belonged to the Courrian family for several generations. This homogeneous domain is spread over 3 Lieux-dits in the municipality of Blaignan: “Tille”, “Four de chaud” and “Lafon”.
The terroir is composed in part of gravelly soil, which gives the wine its power and great ageing potential.
