Château Graves de Pez
AOC Saint-Estephe – Bordeaux – France
The 3 hectares acquired in the 2nd half of the 20th century by the family’s grandparents, who were then in charge of Château Lafon Rochet, are among the finest of the AOC, with a part at Pez, another close to Montrose, and yet another close to Cos d’Estournel.
Maxime Saint-Martin, their grandson who has owned the estate since 2009, later completed this family treasure by purchasing another 0.5 ha in 2015.
Château Graves de Pez is a thoroughly elegant and balanced Saint-Estèphe, with some perfectly controlled woody notes, and which you can drink relatively young.
